Mike’s journey in the roofing industry began in the late 70’s when working with his father and uncle who were custom home builders and general contractors. Between tearing off shingles, loading roofs, learning the trade as a laborer, and completing residential and commercial installations, he has seen and done it all in the roofing industry.
Mike received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his MBA from Western Governors University. In addition to doing exceptional work as a general contractor in the DFW market, Mike is a licensed adjuster and public adjuster in Texas as well as several other states. He frequently mentors other roofing contractors, helping them improve their overall business, and he speaks at conferences and summits throughout the country. If you ever have a question, his door is always open. Mike often says, “I believe in you being your best; your focus needs to be on faith, family and your future. In doing so, never trade what you want most for what you want right now."
Mike and his wife of 37 years have four children and three grandchildren. He enjoys golfing and traveling to see his family, who live in various parts of the US.
Russ is a Senior Project Manager with a background in Finance, Marketing, Insurance and Claim Reparations. His career stretches over 25 years, spending the past 11 years on the Retail and Contractor side of Insurance Claim Reparations. Russ has developed excellent communication and transactional skills working primarily with real estate professionals when home sales are pending due to roof damage or aging, as well as with Insurance agents requesting inspections for underwriting requirements. He is a seasoned storm damage inspector providing expert opinion and direction to clients who have experienced severe weather events. In his off time, he can be found outdoors with his wife of 35 years, either at their farm or out camping. Both he and his wife are active members of the Leonard Church of Christ and enjoy spending their free time with friends and family.
Jose is a Senior Project Manager with a background in customer service and management. In his role as Production Manager, he oversees all projects to ensure trades are completed in a timely manner. Jose works directly with our Project Managers on each project to ensure the best customer experience possible. He is continually seeking ways to learn and better serve his customers. In his spare time, Jose enjoys working out, reading and spending time with his nephews.
Todd grew up in Connecticut, lived in Hawaii for several years, and now calls Texas home. Attending Brigham Young University with a degree in Finance led him to professional services where he developed professionalism and customer service skills, all which serve his KLM clients well. Meeting new people daily, delivering a great product and service, and being outside everyday are what Todd enjoys most about working here at KLM. He is passionate about sports and the outdoors, but mostly about being a dad. Playing soccer for BYU-Hawaii was a life highlight and he still enjoys playing for fun and coaching his son's team.
Cole is a Senior Project Manager. He was raised in the Fort Worth area and brings several years of roofing experience to KLM. Cole works with great pride and integrity, always emphasizing customer service. He enjoys problem solving and the new challenges each day brings. When he is not helping customers, you can often find Cole working out, big-game hunting, and traveling.
Chris is a Project Manager with a solid background in construction and customer service. He has lived in the DFW area for 26 years and says " he wasn't born here, but he got her as fast as he could." In his free time he enjoys working out and cooking, as well as serving his church where he is Campus Youth Director.
Greg is a Project Manager with a background in logistics and the service industry. After growing up in Alaska and Texas, he earned a college scholarship for wrestling, which afforded him the opportunity to travel and compete throughout the United States. Following graduation, he and his brother started their own long distance trucking company. After discovering the roofing industry and all that KLM has to offer, he decided to combine his strengths, including dedication, customer service and attention to detail, to pursue his passion for this industry. His favorite quote is from Nelson Mandela: "I never lose. I either win or I learn."
Manuel brings smiles to our team daily as he manages our warehouse and its operations. His solid work ethic and dedication to his job are just a couple of his many strengths.
After pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering from South Dakota School Of The Mines, Justin moved to the great state of Texas. Heavily influenced by the years his grandfather spent in real estate and construction, Justin developed a thirst for learning all related trades and chose to plant himself in the DFW Metroplex because of its vast opportunities. His thirst for knowledge combined with his background in customer service, his attention to detail, and growing up surrounded by many in the construction industry has served Justin well.
In his free time, Justin enjoys hunting, fishing and exploring all that Texas has to offer.
